The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed with regards to the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The assistance point developed for intervention activities a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
